Victoria's campfire was one of the best I attended. All those months of waiting was worth it. So we got there super early and waited like 1 hour for the campfire to start.

Games were fun performances were exciting and emcees were good. An so when the campfire start Alaric sir who was sitting beside me said "Whoa we've got a dwarf for a emcee" lol.

So the whole thing ended at 10.30 and back to our saikang job-helping to clear the area because of one of BP's value 'A scout leaves a place cleaner than it was before'

And on the way back Mendel ChunKit and I hear Alaric sir talk about NS and stuffs. And now I've got an important annoucement to make...

Falcon Scouts is welcoming evey single of you to join our Venture Scouts. Basically Venture are from age 15 to 18 of age. BUT Falcon Scouts Venture are only from age 17 that is when you have graduted from Secondary School. Males and females are both welcome.

Venturing provides an attractive program of activities, self-government, and leadership experience, companionship of their own age and helps to develop initiative and resourcefulness.
By determining their own training needs it encourages young people to be self-motivating. Key elements of the program are selected from the following four development areas:
- Community Involvement
- Citizenship, Environment, First Aid, Service
- Adventurous Activities
- Expeditions, Outdoor, Initiative
- Personal Growth
- Expression, Lifestyle, Ideals, Pursuits
- Leadership Development
- Unit Management, Leadership Course, Vocations

Heres a little history about our troop's Venture Scouts..

Falcon Scout's troop started with a Scout Unit and a Venture Unit. However it was forced to close down sometime in the mid-eighties due to the phasing out of the pre-U classes. Efforts to restart the Venture Unit were unsucessful. Finally during 1998, the Venture Unit was rekindled by the leadership of ex-Venture Scout Leader Charis Wong.

Yea so those interested please tell me by 31st December 2009 X). I can't promise if you all are still allowed to join by then. Don't put too much hope. XD
